I am a PhD student in Mathematics at the Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar), with a master's degree from the same institution and a degree in Mathematics from the Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (UESC). My area of research is the Theory of Singularities, focusing on the study of integral closure, Newton polyhedra and Newton non-degeneracy in the context of the coordinate ring of a toric variety. I conduct my research under the supervision of Thaís Maria Dalbelo (UFSCar) and co-supervision of Thiago Filipe da Silva (UFES).
